I'm rarely nonverbal long enough to need proper sign language.  And I go nonverbal in situations where there would be no one to understand me anyway. I found a bunch of different words by looking online, and there are entire websites that act as dictionaries.  I don't use ASL very much, because I don't know how to express feelings and emotions that way, nor do many people I know understand it.
